About Our Chapter

The Florida Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers serves as an educational and networking resource for public property appraisers and their staff throughout the state of Florida. The Chapter hosts one annual conference, typically in April, which includes 4 educational tracks focusing on Administration, Real Property, Exemption and IT/GIS issues along with our general sessions.

The Chapter also sponsors a yearly Tangible Personal Property seminar in December/January.  Additionally, we host educational seminars and webinars throughout the year providing continuing education credits for IAAO, ASA and DOR recertification needs. Information about specific conference or seminar topics or dates and times can be found under Events on this website.
